Amjad is a practicing artist especially in watercolors. He is a self taught, well groomed in pencil work sketching, charcoal work, watercolor and oil paints. Practicing as an amateur, since 1972, he worked a lot in watercolor & oil and spread his work to his friends since early childhood. His work includes mostly in:
- Watercolors
- Oil
- Still life
- Pencil work
Covers: Landscape painting, trees and plants, birds, historical places & flowers. He has produced many artwork during his stay in Zimbabwe during early 80’s., painting African forest silhouette, birds, city parks & lakes and Victoria water falls. His paintings of Putney bridge and river Thames in London are also eye catching.
His current work includes castle and tomb paintworks as well as olden mosques in the vicinity of his residence in Pakistan. He enjoys working with bright water colors-which are of various world branded makes collected from various locations of the world, especially from Paris, London, Amsterdam and Tokyo. He is a member of SAA (UK), since 1995.
